As with every bad and dangerous thing, it’s better to just avoid it entirely, than to have to deal with fixing it. This is definitely true when it comes to rabbits and heatstroke.
In the past post we looked at what heatstroke was and how to recognize it at work. Today we’ll be discussing how to prevent it.

We all know how it is, especially those of us who live in Texas. Summer time roles around and with it comes that horrible heat. We try to spend the least amount of time outside in the hottest hours and keep our cars and buildings comfortably cool.
But unlike us, sadly, not all rabbits are able to be kept indoors, whether it be because of an allergy, other animals, or not enough space. Our beloved pets must stay outside - this poses a big problem when summer arrives. This is the first post in my series, "Summer Stop" where I'll be addressing some summer problems and solutions for your bunny. This post is all about Heatstroke - what it is, and how to recognize it at work in your pet. Hello everyone! I know it's been awhile, very sorry about that (college and life has been keeping me busy!). I've just updated my website so take a look around. For those of you who are waiting for another video... I haven't posted another because I've lost the charger for my video camera, but as soon as I find it I will get another video up! Now let's launch into some of the bigger updates:
Hey everybunny! I got back home yesterday. So glad to be back with my bunnies. Spark's kits have grown so much and some of their ears have already lopped over! They're so adorable! I'm going to go out after this and see if I can't film them for another update video. Keep an eye out here or my Youtube channel (or subscribe to get notifications when I upload a vid). Also, if ya'll haven't already seen it. Here's my latest video on them (this is from last week): Hey everyone! First and foremost a video on Spark's kits first playtime in the exercise pen is uploaded (including sad news-which you will read about in a min), go check it out and let me know what you think (sorry about the video's lighting, it was just a more relaxed video).
I am leaving to go on vacation with my family, I will be gone for nine days, so if you message me or post a comment-don't worry! I'll answer you as soon as I get back! I am hoping to do a gender and name reveal for Spark's babies sometime soon after I get back, so start looking forward to it (I certainly am!) :D Now the bad news... the other day I went out to check on the rabbits and found one of Spark's 4 week old black tort. babies dead. It was such a shock! When they are this old the idea of them dying leaves my mind, so as you can imagine I was extremely surprised - I don't know why he died. He was my first kit I've ever lost who was this old - thankfully all of the others are happy and healthy, hopefully nothing else bad happens. Anyway, got to go, see you all when I get back from my trip! God bless you and have a happy hopping day! Spark's five kits are doing great! They've just opened their eyes and have started getting into mischief. They are around 2 weeks old now and are at one of the (in my opinion) cutest age. If you have any name suggestions leave them below, this is Spark's first litter so the name theme evolves around her name. I just uploaded a video on them so if you want to see loads of baby bunny cuteness hop on over to:
Hey guys and gals! I've entered a contest, a small business contest to be exact... Now I'm a little late and all, but it doesn't hurt to try, right?
So in case your interested in voting for us (the earned money would be used to better my rabbits' lives), here's something about the voting, you can vote ONCE every 24 hours. It'd be great to see if we could get up a good amount of votes (so if you do vote, comment here below!). Help me continue providing families with their own little bundles of joy! Yesterday Spark had her kits (baby rabbits) ! So excited! This is the first litter she will raise (her only other previous litter was born dead). She has SIX babies total (though one of them is what we call, a "peanut" and it will sadly, most definitely die). Can't wait to see how these little ones will turn out and also, how well a mother Spark will be. I hope ya'll keep checking back to watch these little ones grow! Also, I will hopefully be doing a video in the future showing these kits growing up (from day one and up!) so subscribe to my YouTube channel to be notified when I post a new video. Lastly I wanted to share something I've never seen before, when Spark was gathering her "haystaches" and making her nest, Rusty (the father of the kits) decided he wanted to join in too.
Hey everyone, check out the new section I just added! Called Bundles of Love Rescue. Let me know what you think! Thank you all and I should be uploading an update video soon so keep an eye out, I'll let you know here!
Hey all! Just wanted to let ya'll know that Jolly's (check the for sale page) video is up! Go check it out at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU--oX5TIHg&t=20s
